Two Customer Guitars Join the Hall of Tune: Sire T7TM and Fender Acoustasonic

The Sire T7TM is one of two new real-world installations from Paul B. in the TronicalTune Guitar Hall of Tune. Paul is a long-time customer who has now fitted Tronical systems to seven guitars.

The latest additions show how one tuning concept can work across two very different instruments: a Sire T7TM electric guitar with TronicalTune PLUS Type C5 and a Fender Acoustasonic Standard Telecaster with TronicalTune PLUS Type C.

Sire T7TM with TronicalTune PLUS Type C5

The Sire T7TM combines a familiar T-style outline with its own modern details. Paul fitted this guitar with the TronicalTune Type C5 system. His installation also adds useful compatibility information for other Sire owners: the C5 board fits the T7TM in the same way it fits the Sire T7.

That is exactly why customer installations matter. Measurements and compatibility lists provide the starting point, but a finished instrument shows how the system sits on a real headstock and confirms the result in everyday use.

Once installed, TronicalTune measures the pitch of all six strings and turns the machine heads automatically. Standard tuning and stored alternate tunings can be recalled directly from the guitar, without reaching for a separate tuner or repeatedly adjusting every string by hand.

What the Sire T7TM installation shows

The full-guitar photograph shows how naturally the system fits the Sire T7TM. The tuning hardware follows the six-in-line headstock while the body, bridge and controls remain untouched. A separate rear view documents the motorised tuners and the C5 control unit, giving other owners a practical visual reference before they compare measurements.

This installation is also a useful reminder that a product name alone does not determine compatibility. Two guitars can share a familiar outline and still use different tuner spacing or mounting details. Paul’s confirmation that the C5 board fits both the T7TM and T7 therefore adds valuable information beyond the catalogue specification.

Fender Acoustasonic Standard Telecaster with Type C

Paul’s second new gallery entry is a Fender Acoustasonic Standard Telecaster. Its six-in-line headstock uses the TronicalTune Type C system, a layout used by many Telecaster-style guitars.

The Acoustasonic is an interesting match for automatic tuning because it moves easily between acoustic-style textures and electric-guitar sounds. Keeping the tuning workflow on the instrument makes it quicker to move from one musical role to another, especially when a set includes standard and alternate tunings.

The installation preserves the clean front of the headstock while placing the control unit and motorised tuners on the rear. The close-up in the gallery shows the completed arrangement.

Two guitars, one practical advantage

These guitars are built for different sounds, but the benefit is the same: less time spent tuning and more time playing. Automatic tuning is useful at home, in the studio and on stage, but it becomes particularly valuable when one player uses several guitars or changes tuning during a session.

Paul’s collection is a good example. With seven Tronical-equipped instruments, the same familiar tuning process is available across different guitars while each instrument keeps the system type that matches its own headstock geometry.

There is another practical benefit when several instruments use the same tuning workflow. The player does not need to learn a different routine for every guitar. Select the desired tuning, strum the strings and let the system make the mechanical adjustments. The Sire T7TM and Fender Acoustasonic remain very different instruments, but tuning them becomes equally straightforward.
