About: Jon Foreman is the lead singer and guitarist of the Grammy Award winning rock band Switchfoot. He is also known for his intimate solo albums and his work with the band Fiction Family. Switchfoot was formed in 1996 and has been making music ever since. This acclaimed live band has played thousands of sold out concerts, sold more than five million records, has numerous radio hits, and have had their songs used in countless films and TV shows. Foreman’s songs have been covered by a wide array of artists, such as Taylor Swift,Cyprus Hill, and American Idol contestants.

Switchfoot’s first self-released full length movie came out at the end of 2013. It’s entitled Fading West. The film follows the band around the globe looking for surfable waves and inspiration. Switchfoot’s 9th studio album, also titled Fading West, serves as a soundtrack of sorts for the film and was released in early 2014 on Atlantic Records.

This year Switchfoot will host the 10th Annual Switchfoot Bro-Am, a music and surfing event benefiting homeless kids in the band’s hometown of San Diego. Through his music and other endeavors, Jon is looking to communicate a hope for the postmodern era. Jon is currently on Tour with Switchfoot.
